The transition from 2D to 3D images is like the advent of talking pictures or color television. Of course, black and white photography and film haven't disappeared, but they remain the preserve of a few somewhat eccentric aesthetes. What follows will save me from lengthy explanations, as the images speak for themselves. They all come from the internet (with one major drawback: 72 dpi resolution, compared to the minimum 300 dpi required for printing—not ideal!), the modified image being hidden beneath the original.
