Apart from the first image (1917), all the others concern the period 1939-1945, particularly in the South of England during the Blitz, when Wernher von Braun's V-1 flying bombs rained down on London and its surroundings, causing thousands of civilian casualties. Yet, the criminal von Braun would end his days as the head of NASA and an American citizen! Furthermore, one might have thought that the "grown-ups," in their furious madness, would do everything to prevent younger generations from being caught up in the horrors of war. A wasted effort; one only has to watch the news on television...
