A sunday at Chantilly

Welcome to Chantilly, home to the Horse Museum, the Castle of the Princes de Condé, and the racecourse! (The five images that follow are 2D location scouting shots. The idea was to capture racehorses running alongside the façade of the Great Stables (Chantilly Horse Museum) on one hand, and with the château in the background on the other, for 3D panels that could be up to 4 meters long, or even longer.) By the way, let's congratulate those who had the brilliant idea of building a race course on this truly exceptional site! Please notice that the first four pictures are in 2D.
In the stables preparations are underway... |

A little trip down memory lane to Diane 2013. Don't be fooled by the uncertain, pre-pubescent look of the two guys you see below. These two are top-notch jockeys: on the left, a laughing Mickaël Barzalona (winner of the Epsom Derby with Pour Moi in 2011), proof that he knows how to stay calm before a major race, and on the right, the equally talented Maxime Guyon, silver whip of the 2013 season with nearly two hundred wins and winner of the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket in 2014 with Miss France. |

Back to the 2014 Prix de Diane. I'll skip over the countless other activities and focus on Julien Doré's concert (a former contestant on... what was it again? Star Academy?), Why not say it? I really enjoyed it. Below a small selection of photos from Julien Doré's show. |
